Website and Tech Volunteer
Help maintain physicianinnovator.com, a fast static site built with Astro, TypeScript and Tailwind, and keep its content up to date.
About the role
Our website is built with Astro, React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. All content lives in Markdown files in Git and deploys automatically to Cloudflare Pages. We’re looking for someone to help keep it healthy and help other volunteers publish content.
What you’ll do
- Review and merge content updates (new articles, events and people) from other volunteers
- Fix bugs and make small improvements
- Keep dependencies up to date and the automated checks green
- Help with the planned move to a browser-based CMS
What you’ll gain

Who we’re looking for
- Comfortable with Git, Markdown and at least some HTML/CSS or JavaScript
- Experience with Astro, React or TypeScript is a plus
- Medical background not required
