Privacy policy

Physician Innovator (“PI”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through physicianinnovator.com, why, and what choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to send us through our forms:

Membership sign-up: your name, email address, career stage, school or organization, province, interests, and whether you’d like to receive our emails.
Contact and partnership enquiries: your name, email address, organization (optional) and message.
Volunteer applications: your name, email address, career stage, school or organization, the role you’re applying for, optional links (such as LinkedIn) and your answers.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.

How we use it

To manage your membership and send you the updates you asked for
To reply to your message or enquiry
To review volunteer applications and contact applicants

We never sell your information.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored in Airtable, a service we use to manage members and applications, and may be processed in the United States. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. Both providers protect data under their own security and privacy commitments.

We only send newsletters and event updates if you tick the consent box. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@physicianinnovator.com.

Retention

We keep membership records while you remain a member. We keep volunteer applications for up to two years so we can contact applicants about future roles, unless you ask us to delete yours sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@physicianinnovator.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.
